Synopsis

The chapter introduces Laura de Farnese, revealing her future role as a cruel figure in the world, more threatening than demon lords. Dantalian, observing this, desires to acquire her as a retainer, not a slave. He presents himself as a worthy master and warns her about the fate awaiting her at auction, where she's to be sold to Count Roselle, a torturer.
