Synopsis

The protagonist deduces that Barbatos was behind the letter sent to him and the attempt to drive a wedge between him and Lala, not to save him but to test his usefulness for Barbatos' faction. The protagonist explains that Barbatos used Lala's mother to create conflict. However, the protagonist and Lala are still together because they're a well-known couple in the demon world and killing them would ruin Barbatos's reputation. Finally, the protagonist reveals he realized what was going on because Lala wasn't angry about someone trying to hurt her mother, but rather for someone trying to take away her revenge.
