Synopsis

The chapter opens with the former Demon King expressing his desire to abandon his title and live a peaceful life. He travels to the surface with his companion, where they find a society structured around a hero-ranking system heavily influenced by blood purity. A recent dragon attack on Trier Castle creates unrest and sets the stage for their involvement with an F-rank hero, who they plan to manipulate to live a comfortable life at the top. The Demon King plans to help the F-rank hero, taking him as a companion while also using magic in secret.
