Synopsis

The chapter opens with the demon Alex recounting her past sacrifices and affection for the Demon King, who has now declared himself a "normal human". Despite his refusal, Alex takes it upon herself to raise his son as the next Demon King. Meanwhile, the former Demon King decides to become the Hero's ally, seeing it as a way to stay out of the spotlight while still enjoying the benefits of power. This plan however is then complicated by a mage who steals the King's power and the chapter concludes as the demon cycle of rebirth restarts, culminating with a powerful new demon king and the appearance of a princess, all part of a larger demonic cycle.
