Synopsis

After defeating Rosetale, the protagonist agrees to fight Money King again, under the same conditions as the festival, despite the worry of his friends. The chapter delves into the protagonist's power increase after absorbing Rosetale's mana, the potential dangers of his 'Gluttony of Darkness' skill, and the concept of Villain awakenings, which are described as volatile and potentially corrupting. It's revealed that the protagonist is also wrestling with residual memories from Rosetale that he absorbed, leading to further inner conflict and he also learns of a method to become stronger bypassing awakening.
