Synopsis

Lilstein's past is shown where he was sold to a cruel researcher, Sparcant, and subjected to inhumane experiments despite possessing high magical potential. He eventually befriends Sihan, an 'otherworlder,' and they find solace in each other. However, Sihan's unique mana causes a dangerous surge, leading to Sparcant ordering Sihan's limbs to be severed, which Lilstein opposes, setting up a conflict. The chapter ends with Lilstein and others surrounded.
