Dina and her companion are welcomed into the Amoth family estate, where they hope to gather information about Karen. One of the Amoth family members, Brite, makes a bold, upfront confession of love to Dina, which she quickly rejects, much to Brite's embarrassment. Despite the awkward situation, the pair are assigned a shared room for the night. While trying to sleep, Dina is caught reading a book of supposed "famous sayings" from her past, which she denies ever saying, but does provide a bit of levity after the awkward encounter.
Dina and her companion arrive at the Amoth family estate, where they are greeted warmly and one of the Amoth family members attempts a bold, but ultimately rejected, romantic confession to Dina, leaving them awkwardly sharing a room. Dina is then revealed to be reading a book containing embellished sayings from her past.
