Synopsis

The protagonist, after defeating a group and not being impressed by a magical item, is shown to be healing the sick and giving away money, attracting attention for his actions. He gains a pilgrim follower and is later revealed to be followed by an elf slave who is returned to the slave market due to her being 'defective'. The chapter ends with the protagonist training in the ruins, developing a new fighting technique, and successfully applying a divine blessing to his sword.
