Synopsis

The protagonist reflects on his past life as a mage and embraces his new warrior abilities, wanting to gauge his full potential against a formidable demon. Meanwhile, other characters, including a group of knights, are shown attempting to take on the same demon, using more conventional, but seemingly ineffective, attacks. A flashback reveals the system that created the dungeon guardian and the unfortunate circumstances of the monsters forced into that role. It's also suggested the demon the group is fighting is of a much higher rank than they realize.
