Synopsis

Ian Phage arrives, ignoring the prince's refusal to see him, stating he's there on imperial orders to inspect for black magic influence connected to the recently executed Tower Master. He subjects the prince and others to the inspection, which they pass. Afterwards, Ian reveals he doesn't serve the crown prince, but instead is loyal to another person, and his actions are part of a personal 'rebellion,' implying a larger conflict and a hidden motive beyond imperial orders.
