Synopsis

Following Herbert's downfall, the royal court is securing assets and gathering information while addressing the need for a new Ivory Tower Master. Despite initial reservations about pledging allegiance to the crown prince, Ian Phage is entrusted with the position by the king. The chapter concludes with Ian revealing his desire to kill Ragnar, driven by a desire for revenge and a disgracefully painful end for him.
