Ian finally reaches the capital city, Greenriverdium, and is immediately granted a mansion by the emperor, a gift from his past life. Simultaneously, Cecilia is apprehended not by the knights who were guarding her, but by members of the Ivory Tower, who take control of her interrogation. Ian, while happy to be with his mother, also anticipates his audience with the Emperor and resolves to make better use of his second life by changing things related to the Emperor and his mother.
Ian arrives in the capital and receives a mansion, while Cecilia is taken into custody by the Ivory Tower. Ian reflects on his past life and his desire to change things.
