Synopsis

The chapter shows the main character and their mercenary group preparing to enter a dangerous region known for demonic beast appearances, with the main character showing fear of the beasts. They face constant harassment from a rival group which culminates in a physical confrontation where the main character tries to defend their comrades, ultimately ending with a rank 3 mercenary intervening. Later, the main character reflects on their weaknesses, being unable to use their VIS(mana) and their need to grow stronger.
