Synopsis

The chapter begins with the main group arriving at an inn, where they're meant to escort a noble. Instead of resting, they play a game where they identify sounds to sharpen their senses, which reveals hidden enemies. This leads to an unexpected ambush, and a close-quarters battle ensues between the main character and one of the attackers.
