Synopsis

The chapter opens with an assassination attempt that's ultimately unsuccessful, leading to a retreat and the capture of a few assailants. The protagonist is then approached by a leader of a powerful organization, who attempts to recruit them aggressively, promising wealth and power, but the protagonist declines. Finally, the protagonist receives a new mission to track down the escaped assassins.
