Synopsis

After being overwhelmed in battle and losing his magical circle, the protagonist is approached by a trapped ancient being who offers to lend him power, essentially forcing a symbiotic relationship where the being will inhabit the protagonist's body but is limited by his circle. The protagonist decides to rise to the challenge and use the offered power, recognizing its potential, despite it being at a lower initial state than the being expects. Meanwhile, at a separate location, a knight, Mylon, is accused of treachery and fails to provide information about an opponent, leading to his presumed execution. The leader, Count Monaque, decides to investigate the mysterious rider and the princess who is staying behind to help refugees, possibly as a step towards achieving his personal plans.
