Synopsis

Lapis confronts her Highness about his recent actions, accusing him of treating her like a romantic interest rather than a partner in power. They both agree that their priority is seizing power in the demon world and view emotions like love as weaknesses. They conclude that their relationship will be one of mutual benefit in achieving their ambitions, acknowledging their shared love for authority, and are both weak for each other. The chapter ends with the revelation that her Highness is the one who wrote Lapis the mysterious letter.
