Synopsis

The chapter opens with Dantalian's side achieving victory, his generals noting the goddess of victory seems to smile upon them. Dantalian expresses his enjoyment of treating his soldiers' lives like toys, revealing a dark sense of pleasure in control. He then passionately declares his love for Lapis Lazuli, shocking his soldiers and possibly causing some dissidence. Meanwhile, enemy generals, confused by Dantalian's strange strategies, face a new, seemingly disorganized mercenary force, indicating an ongoing war despite the chapter's previous victory.
