Synopsis

The chapter begins with confusion as the attacking army notices that the enemy mercenaries are not fighting back, raising questions about their strategy. Dantalian reveals his plan, explaining he is using them to test military concepts, and urges his general, Laura, to be bolder and more reckless. The chapter ends with Dantalian initiating an actual attack, having received new information and instructing his forces to treat the battle as a playground. They are to attack the approaching army.
