Synopsis

The peace between Balkan and Philenom is threatened due to the death of Madrea Falcier, also known as Heaven's Rebuke, an Ascendant whose foresight was instrumental in the treaty. It's also revealed that Balkan was experimenting on captives from Philenom using a secret project called "Black Consumer". The protagonist, reflecting on the chaos, decides to observe the newly arrived Ascendant, Heaven's Rebuke, and uses a sniper scope and illusion magic to approach unseen, questioning her connection to the protagonist's own existence. The protagonist now aims for the peak of ascension to discover the purpose of their existence.
