Synopsis

The chapter focuses on the protagonist's experience with a 'miracle medicine,' which causes a dangerous buildup of toxins in his body. He manages to use his mana to offset some of the adverse effects. After a week of recovery and rest, the protagonist tries to contact someone but discovers her phone is off and the city is strangely silent. It is then revealed that an unexpected early visit from an envoy group is causing this disturbance.
