Synopsis

Ryuzaki Juuto, Japan's Prime Minister, is frustrated by the failure of his elite hunters in dealing with a monster gate and decides to take matters into his own hands. He prepares to investigate the gate alone, showcasing his confidence in his own power. Meanwhile, another character reflects on a past tragedy, involving his mother's hardship due to his actions, and resolves to become a hunter to alleviate their suffering. This sets up a potential conflict between the powerful Prime Minister and the up-and-coming hunter.
