Synopsis

The chapter starts with the protagonist being thanked for his efforts within a gate. Soon after, he's approached by a figure claiming to be from the Korean Hunter Association who knows about his past and his mother's condition. This figure reveals the current state of the world where gates are used for war and their country is struggling, ultimately offering to save his mother if he becomes a powerful 'monster' for them. The protagonist is surprised at their offer of being used as a war tool.
