The Warrior and the Taliah guild quickly form a contract; the Warrior will help them remove the taint of being a "dark guild" and eliminate the sewer rat's subordinates. In return, the guild will provide information and full support to the Warrior. This agreement provides a chance for the Taliah guild to break free from their dark history and for the Warrior to have a team to back him up. The chapter then shifts to the Warrior making his way through the Imperial Palace where he is greeted by Mairon Kelibos, a knight from the Kelibos family who recognizes the Warrior.
