Synopsis

The chapter focuses on Mikhail's meeting with the Emperor, during which he deliberately acts disrespectful to gauge the Emperor's true intentions. Before the audience, he interacts with Mairon, whom he intends to use in his plan to take down Mairon's father, Marquis Kelibos. Mikhail plants seeds of doubt in Mairon's mind about the current state of affairs and subtly manipulates him to be more receptive to learning the truth about his father.
