Synopsis

After his companions leave the mountain, the main character feels a sense of loneliness but also recognizes the positive impact human relationships have had on him, noting that an 'unseen wall' in his heart has fallen. He learns that in seven years, one of his mentors will die and he dedicates himself to preventing it. The character begins an intense training regime, losing track of time as he focuses on mastering his skills while reflecting on the nature of cicadas.
