Synopsis

Lee Sungmin overcomes a challenge set by a being that reveals his own existence as a trial designed to cause despair in others. He reflects on his past life and resolves to work hard and make the most of his current life, embracing effort. A mysterious inner voice, seemingly not his own, suggests a bigger picture about the purpose of his regression and hints at his need to be worthy of it. The chapter concludes with Lee Sungmin, along with other characters, enduring harsh sensory prohibitions as part of their training.
