Synopsis

After being healed, the assassin reveals he was given a dangerous energy absorption technique and intends to return home before taking his own life due to guilt from his past kills. The protagonist, despite the assassin's intent, decides to help him quit being an assassin, realizing that his former group will likely kill him. They decide to stay in the open to draw out the assassin's former group who they believe are somewhere near the village they are currently in.
