Synopsis

Baek Pyo reflects on his transformation into an assassin and the events that led him down that path, specifically when Cheon Woomyeong forced an energy absorption technique onto him, causing him to seek the immortal plant for survival and leading to intense bloodlust and subsequent suffering. A mysterious character appears, demonstrating knowledge of this dark technique and its side effects, and surprisingly offers a cure, leading Baek Pyo to recount his origin to this new figure. He details the devastation of his clan and the source of his power, and the fact that he wasn't the only one who learned that dark art.
