Synopsis

The chapter reveals that the Kunlun sect, contrary to Wudang's strict abstinences, openly indulges in meat and alcohol, much to the surprise of the visiting Wudang disciples. They discuss how Kunlun is able to sustain itself, learning about their significant financial support from the Orthodox Murim Alliance and merchant donations. The Wudang disciples, realizing their sect's lack of resources and strict lifestyle, become dejected, contrasting their poverty with Kunlun's wealth and comfort. The chapter also introduces a legendary Wudang figure, Chungmui, and hints at his importance to the divided Dual Internal Energy Art.
