Synopsis

The chapter opens with a battle where Mia struggles to land a decisive blow, highlighting the danger of the opponent. The narrative then shifts to Dyke, a past ranker who has become disillusioned with PVP, and his encounter with an Operator who punishes his maxed-out karma due to excessive PVP fights. Despite the defeat, Dyke experiences a strange sense of happiness, finally finding a goal. He then resigns from his powerful guild, leaving it to the vice-guild master, to pursue a new goal.
