Synopsis

Aiden, a character initially perceived as a player, discovers he is an NPC and therefore unable to gain levels by killing monsters alone. After realizing this limitation, a player offers to 'carry' him in a party to gain shared experience. This method works, allowing Aiden to finally level up and acquire a skill point, thus starting his journey to break his NPC limitations. Meanwhile, the player reveals a possessive side when an unknown machine threatens them.
