Synopsis

The chapter opens with the protagonist in a waiting area full of players during a game inspection. He observes the power differences between high-ranked and lower-ranked players, expressing his own weakness. He witnesses a bully harassing other players and is defended by a member of a guild, who then invites him to join their party, explaining the practice of guilds supporting newer players since updates ceased. He's then met by Aria.
