Synopsis

The chapter begins with a guest abruptly requesting to see the protagonist, much to the latter's annoyance. Despite trying to avoid involvement, the protagonist ends up assigning his deputies to help the guest. The protagonist muses on his changing personality and the growing unease he senses, further noting subtle shifts in the behavior of those around him, such as his butler Ron offering him a potentially unwelcome lemonade. Finally, he reflects on the past words of the Henituse family.
