Synopsis

The chapter begins with the team discussing their mission to subdue the Earth Dragon and the secrets of the Blue Ivory Tower, recognizing that they are being manipulated. After a seemingly peaceful interaction in the village, the team is ambushed by heretics, revealing the whole village as a trap. They learn the Earth Dragon’s mind control abilities are boosted due to experiments, and that demonic beasts have been mobilized in the mountains. The chapter concludes with the group regrouping at a tavern and facing an incoming threat, realizing the entire subjugation squad is under attack.
