Synopsis

The protagonist is ambushed, seemingly killed, but uses a 'playing dead' trait to survive. They then obtain new traits, 'night vision', and decide to use acquired traits strategically. They manage to sell a high level mana core they gained in the hotel and use the funds to purchase better gear, putting them on the path to become stronger in a world dominated by gangs and monsters. The chapter concludes with them accepting a bodyguard job, showing a willingness to help those in need but also hints at future dangers.
