Synopsis

Saint Ray arrives in the Lessian Empire, where he is first greeted by the flirtatious Third Princess Luciella, who acts as an annoyance. Later, he's approached by the more cautious Second Prince, Luke, who inquires about the Emperor's condition, fearing poisoning. Meanwhile, Ray discovers that the Emperor's injuries are severe, including contusions and muscle tears, indicating a possible physical assault rather than a natural illness. The chapter ends with Ray feeling pressured by the situation but also aware of the sinister undercurrents.
