Synopsis

The chapter begins with the protagonist being offered 'authority' as a reward but instead receives the 'Flickering Orb' skill from the Goddess of Slowness. He returns to Kirikiri, the apparent 'Hell Difficulty' manager, for guidance. After some playful back and forth, the protagonist uses one of his limited questions to inquire about the skill, learning it's a rare gift from a god but that he'll have to test it himself. The chapter ends with the protagonist pondering the nature of the gods and their motives, with Kirikiri avoiding a direct answer.
