Synopsis

The chapter opens with a flashback of the protagonist being criticized for his gaming habits, highlighting a tense familial relationship and blaming for the protagonist's gaming. The protagonist then confronts the pain of his father's death due to his own inability to understand his father. He decides to overcome his trauma through his gaming ability and then successfully clears a game level, achieving a 'first clear' status which prompts several Gods to show interest, including the Goddess of Slowness who offers him a special authority. The chapter ends with a cliffhanger as he is given the option to accept the offer.
