Synopsis

A character is found awake late at night and trying to tend to themselves while clearly unwell. Another character confronts them, noticing the signs of a high fever and uneven breathing. The ill character tries to downplay their condition and refuses a doctor, insisting on secrecy while the concerned character becomes frustrated with their stubbornness and need to hide their illness. The chapter ends on the concerned character trying to understand what secret the sick person is trying to hide and asking for help from a servant.
