Synopsis

The chapter begins with the protagonist feeling unwell, noting she hasn't told anyone about her condition while simultaneously preparing to leave for a week. She overhears conversations about the Leopold family, focusing on Lord Infrick, Lord Perdon, and Lady Arvelia. She is later confronted by Nocturn and the sickly Arvelia and they have a brief exchange. Despite being asked to stay for a health checkup, the protagonist departs, hinting at underlying emotions and a desire to avoid the situation.
