Synopsis

The chapter follows the characters as they move past a 'black door,' revealing more complex ruins and dangerous metal giants. Karmen expresses guilt over the deaths of recent hires but is reassured by a priest named Marnak. After encountering more metal giants, Karmen uses a corruption giant as a distraction and forces her way through a door, kicking another character through and calling the giant to return. Finally, she seeks to use her mother to summon another entity while focusing on a specific target on an enemy.
