After a night of heavy drinking, the main characters decide to take a rest day. Later, they try to access Princess Dakia's personal safe, only to discover it has been banned by Sir Douglas Martin. Upon meeting with Sir Martin, it is revealed that he banned the safe to force Princess Dakia's return to the estate. It's also established that Sir Martin has been filling in for the 'Smiling Lord' who has lost her mind, and Father Marnak's reputation is built up to legendary status.
The group has a rest day due to excessive drinking, and then attempts to access a personal safe, finding it banned by Sir Martin. They then confront Sir Martin who reveals he did it to bring Princess Dakia back to the estate.
