Synopsis

The chapter depicts the ongoing siege of Hill Castle, where Shaiven's forces are under pressure. A slave revolt erupts as the castle gates are mysteriously opened, while simultaneously, a unified force of trolls, satyrs, and lizard-men approaches. Shaiven, ignoring his own bleeding, becomes desperate to seize the castle quickly, while the slaves, having had their hope ignited, are turning into a formidable force.
