Synopsis

The chapter focuses on the strategic planning of two characters, Nebula and Hegemonia, as they prepare to enact a 'Contradictory Prophecy' by selecting different successors to the Automation Castle's current lord. This act is introduced within the context of the game mechanics where prophecies grant rewards or punishments. This prophecy is contrasted with the arrival of two tribes drawn to the castle because of rumors, possibly linked to the prophecy or the succession itself. The first character shows apathy toward making a choice initially, likening it to a choosing between different dangerous animals, before the second convinces them to engage in the prophecy.
