Synopsis

The Lakrak tribe, having discovered written language, rapidly progresses in farming, housing, and mapping. They encounter signs of the Frogmen, a potentially hostile tribe, and while trying to consolidate their position, build defensive structures and improve productivity, they are being observed by the Frogmen. The chapter ends on a note of impending crisis as the Frogmen begin to mobilize. The main character also reflects on his advantageous starting position and his growing capabilities, setting the stage for future challenges.
