Synopsis

The chapter begins with the group attempting to make the inedible monster meat palatable, succeeding by adding flavorful flora and roasting it. They then discover a strange metal object from the monster, pondering its purpose and value. The chief reflects on his role and the meaning of symbols, and his discussion is interrupted by a new development – a lizardman with markings that resemble the metal tablet they found.
