Synopsis

The chapter begins with a standoff where a character is offered a rare gem as a bribe, leading to a humorous exchange with a princess. Later, the protagonist and his companions are confronted by an ancient guardian who refuses to let them pass into his territory, followed by the physical manifestation of the World Tree which expresses disappointment in his daughter's actions. The chapter ends with a conflict brewing.
