Synopsis

The king reveals a plan based on Sir Gratas' theory where serfs, buffed by a 'bible,' are supposed to stab a giant multiple times to take it down. This initially seems like a chance at redemption for the serfs but quickly shifts as the king uses their past evil deeds to justify their deaths in his plan. He then transforms the challenge into a competition for the knight captain position, ultimately selecting a serf who uses revenge to drive their actions. It becomes clear that the challenge was a way to eliminate the serfs and find a capable leader, not to grant them a genuine chance at redemption.
