Synopsis

The chapter opens with the protagonist seemingly tormented by past failures and the presence of demonic remnants within him. His daughter tries to encourage him, urging him to take a leadership position. A king, having witnessed the situation, offers to help the protagonist by forming a 'brotherly' bond, while a descendant of a fallen house is trying to join their group. The chapter concludes with the king stating that he is going to use something, possibly a power.
